The Refundable Security Deposit is only a temporary hold on the accepted card. Return the car without missing fuel, fines or charges, and the deposit will be returned to your account. Once you return the car without toll charges, fines or missing fuel the deposit will be returned to your account.

Driver's age
23 to 99 years.
Young driver's age: 18 to 23 years. Charge 320 ZAR Includes 15% tax
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to hire a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Cross Border Rentals are allowed to the following countries:
Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and Swaziland.
For each month or part thereof:
2,000.00 ZAR Botswana, Namibia
1,500.00 ZAR Lesotho
1,300.00 ZAR Swaziland
A written permission issued by the Sixt branch is mandatory to cross the border of Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Due to ongoing border policy reviews, please enquire in advance as to which vehicles may be permitted to cross the South African borders.
Please note that restrictions also apply to certain countries.
The following car groups are not permitted:
SDAR, FCAR, PDAR, PSAR, PFAR, LCAR, LFAR
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.
